Finally The Dress is Complete

Here's a picture of the completed dress I had mentioned in earlier posts.  I ended up using a pattern for it instead of drafting one since I had one that would work good with my idea.  I ended up adding some decorative trim on some of the seams to make them more noticable.
Pocket and Trim Details Below.
Notice that the trims are 2 different shades?  I only had a meter of each colour...so I figured it still worked.
This is the pattern that I used below.  Basically how I choose  whether I'm going to draft a pattern or buy one is determined by whether the pattern is on sale for cheap and find one I like.  I figure that if I can find a pattern I like for a few dollars it's worth buying because I'd be spending alot more time than a few dollars worth drafting one.  Quite often if I don't draft the pattern I will likely be altering it in some way.  On this one the only change I made was making it a few inches shorter...but I still might have to take it in at the waist.

There will be no outfit post today because a girls gotta take a break once in a while.
Don't forget to vote on next weeks challenge because the poll ends at the end of today!!!
