A Dozen

Day Twelve

Dress- Zara
Belt- Zara
Tights- Joe fresh
Boots Winners

There were a few of my 30 items that I hadn't worn yet...this skirt (part of the 3 in 1 jacket I made) and these boots two of those items.  The skirt is a bit mini, so the dress poking out the bottom made it a bit more wearable...although I think a few ladies were giving me strange looks...probably trying to figure out why I was wearing a skirt over a dress.  It's a small town..I don't expect people to "get it"..haha

Joking!! I'm not naked, just my face is (I just figured naked would get your attention better than "without make-up") I'm featured on Dressing Mommys My Gal Friday...which is pretty much the most brilliant idea ever, it's where inner beauty is celebrated, and positive self image is encouraged!

Your 3-in-1 jacket is AMAZING. I love it, the ruffles, the color, the fabric, everything! After attempting to try a super easy skirt pattern and failing, I am so envious of your awesome sewing skills.

You come up with the most clever pairings. The skirt over the dress, with the dress still showing beneath is a new one and it looks great.

i love everything about this - the bold paisley print, and the skirt over it - with the way you've got the belt situated, it looks like it's a dual-layered dress that was pre-made that way. this might be my favourite thing that i've seen anyone remix so far. wow!

I think it's a great idea to wear a dress under a short skirt. I also love the idea of a great slip underneath!
