Cynthia A. Villa
# of Kids and Ages:

2 Girls : 2 years old and 10 months old

Blog Name and URL:

A brief description of your blog:

A fashion blog for those who are looking for a bargain with a brand name on it.
This blog contains insights and features on fashion items, colors and trends.

Do you feel that your style changed after you had kids? If yes, how? If no, why not?:

Yes. I was mostly into black, I would only wear black. When I had my children, shopping for them introduced me to the beauty of color!

What do you think is the biggest misconception of being a mother?:

The biggest misconception of being a mom is that you don’t make time for yourself. While it is a bit harder to do this, it can be done.
Looking good, working hard and having kids can go hand in hand.

What do you think is the biggest misconception of being a "fashion blogger"?:

The most common misconception is critique. People often think that fashion bloggers are shallow, and only know fashion, and they love to spend tons of money.
What is something you enjoy doing that is completely unrelated to your children and fashion blogging?:

Writing articles for e-zine, Squidoo, and creating designs for my store.
How would you describe your personal style?:

Edgy, Rock N Roll Meets Romance (Halloween meets Valentines!!)
What are some of your favourite current fashion trends?:

I just love the whole gunmetal trend in accessories and in purses. I’ve used it for years, and think it looks fab with a delicate flower. (Once again, romance meets rock n roll)

And your least favourite?:

Right now I can’t get into plaid too much. I lived the “grunge era” in my plaid shirts. I think I’m over it.
What do you think is the key element to balancing “style” with function for mothers?:

The key element to balancing style with function for mothers is just that, balance. Be comfortable in the way you feel, but also be comfortable and confident with you look.
Any other random thoughts or interesting things about you that you would like to share?:

Fashion blogging has become a favorite hobby, and I’ve been able to help ladies of all ages, shapes and sizes find something to suit their style. That is a great feeling!
