Day Nineteen

What:
Leopard Dress (worn under)- H&M
Purple Dress- H&M
Fur Scarf thingy- H&M
Belt- Target
Tights- Winners
OTK Socks- Target
Boots- Steve Madden

A man at the post office said to me "it must be warm in your house"...yes...yes it is warm in my house.  I knew he was dying to say something to me as he followed me out of the door...I was actually expecting a much worse comment...I think it's the OTK socks that make skirts and dresses seem a lot shorter (and legs a lot longer!!)...but if I lived in the city, no one would give me a second look...I mean come on, people prance around the city with leggings and non behind covering shirts...and I'm wearing a dress that quite clearly covers everything with tights.  I also had a jacket and leather gloves on...I'm not sure what he was getting at...I think most people get dressed for the place their going to be spending most of their time that day...and I spend mine inside...just because it's cold outside doesn't mean I should be wearing snow pants and sweatshirts inside and out!  I wonder if he even bothered to take my furry scarf into consideration!?!

You look sexy, NOT skanky and that man sounds like grade A perv! And yes, I agree that in Vancouver, girls walk around in leggings and nothing else, exposing their camel toes to an audience who doesn't even care (because they've seen too many a camel toe by now).

Too funny, these comments you get. I happen to think you are one fashionable lady and of course this outfit is a layering master piece. This way, whether you are reading a magazine or chasing the destroyer you can adjust accordingly. A very smart move....

I'm so in love with this outfit! The purple, the leopard, the fur, it's all perfect. And I actually think it looks pretty warm, so I don't know what that guy was thinking, haha.

Gorgeous outfit!! It's so fun and chic. I actually think you look very cozy and the layers are very appropriate for the weather ...but I live in the city :)

Purple is a great color on you! Show off those legs more often and ignore people like that.

We're on the same wavelength: I wore purple tights for outfit n.19, too!

I love this entire outfit. But if I had to play favorites, I'd say I love the fur scarf the best :)

oh wow! This is an amazing outfit and can't beleive part of your remix. If there was a winner you would be it I think. And yes, over the knee socks seem to make any ordinary shorts or skirt over the top sexy. Even though you are actually adding coverage. Go figure.
