Twenty-One

Day Twenty-One

What:
Purple Dress (Worn as shirt)- H&M
Olive Vest- Zara
Pants- Self Made
Belt- Ardenes
Shoes- Sears

I'm loving the look of these wide legged menswear inspired pants with this more tailored vest...I need to wear these pants more often I think.  The reason I don't is that they are much too large, and I have to use a safety pin to make them fit.  No I haven't shrunk..these were the first pants I made in College as a project (not the first pants I'd made though)...and they had very wide cuffs on the bottom, and I wore them lower on my hips (so I had a bit of a drop crotch effect happening..haha)..now I'm not too into that look, so I took in the pant legs a bunch, and let out the hem, but didn't bother taking in the waist any more...but I think it's time I do!

The drop crotch is not too obvious, so they still look chic. You seem quite petite so no chance porking up, eh? Maybe you could save them for feasts and such (holidays, birthdays, movie marathon days...)

Great colors. The purple looks fantastic here. You made those trousers? You've got skill!

I love the colors of the two tops.
As always, I am impressed with your skills. I love how much of your 30 is homemade!

I love love love love your olive vest, and that you wore a fitted top, which completely compliments the wide leg pants. Menswear is probably my favorite trend at the moment. Tailored cuts are perfect.
