Once again I am pushing my Friday feature forward a day due to the holiday season.
Today's Canadian cutie isn't exactly Canadian, but she is living here, braving the cold weather, and staying stylish at the same time...so I'm thinking she definitely deserves honorary Canadian status!

A brief description of your blog:
I am an Aussie girl who has moved from sunny Western Australia to cold snowy Canada on a working holiday. My blog is about how I am adjusting to living in a different country with a completely different climate and how I can survive with only 30 items of clothing to remix so I can keep warm and look great.
How long have you been blogging, and what made you start?:
I started blogging in February 2010. I started Blessed are the Meek as a creative outlet and a celebration of the fact that I had lost over 30 kilos and now I could wear what I like and shop where I like with the confidence that clothes were going to fit me and I was going to look and feel great.
How would you describe your personal style?:
My style is very laid back and casual. I live in jeans and boots and I usually have a scarf draped around my neck. Usually I am the queen of accessories. I have dozens of handbags, shoes and an endless amount of jewellery but they are all packed away in storage at home in Australia awaiting my return in two years time.
Do you feel that you can relate better to fashion bloggers living in Canada? Or is there no difference?:
I can absolutely relate better to Canadian bloggers simply because we are living in the same climate and shopping at the same stores.
What are some of your favourite Canadian (only found in Canada) stores?:
I am in love with Joe Fresh. The clothes are super cute and also very affordable. I also love their children’s range of clothing. My little boy has a few Joe Fresh pieces and I also sent home some cute little girl clothes to my niece. I also love Ardene. I love a good accessory shop and I have brought most of my hats and scarves from there. Oh and I love love LOVE Reitmans because they have loooong pants. I am 6 foot 1 and I always struggle to find pants and jeans to fit me and I have found the perfect jeans and cord pants at Reitmans.
What store do you wish would open up in Canada?:
TARGET! We have Target back home in Oz and I love it. I shop there all the time and have got some great bargains from thee too.
Do you have any favourite Canadian designers/fashion brands?:
I am not much of a brands person so I am just sticking with Joe Fresh – great clothes and it suits my budget!
My greatest fashion inspirations come from...
Reading two great blogs Selective Potential and Second Skin.
The most cliché Canadian thing I enjoy/have ever done is....
I love eating chicken wings!
My favourite feature about myself is my blue eyes, I love the colour purple, I love owl and bird jewellery, I adore my son who is 2 and a half and I have the most wonderful husband in the whole world. I am currently living at a ski resort for the winter and I am loving my life!
