The Weather Won't Stop Me

What:
Sweater- Joe Fresh
Dress- H&M
Scarf- TJ Maxx
Belt- H&M
Leggings- Sirens
Boots- Aldo

I took a bit of a break from this dress after finishing the 30 for 30 challenge.  I didn't really do it on purpose, it was mainly because the weather is so cold...now the weather is even colder, but it couldn't stop me any longer.  I threw on the warmest leggings and sweater that I owned, and stayed nice and warm all day!

This next bit is comepletely non-blog related...

As most of you know I justed moved to a new town a few months back....and I was having a hard time meeting people because I'm so shy, and wasn't getting out of the house much aside from groceries and getting the mail.  A month ago I signed up for yoga, which I love so much, and met a couple young mothers there...one of my new friends invited me and some other young moms over Friday night for girls night.  It was so great to get out of the house and finally make some friends.  When I first moved to this small town I had no idea how I would survive....but at this moment I'm loving it here!!  I never thought I would say that!

So thanks to the lovely ladies for showing me a good time!

I'm so glad you're starting to feel at home! I'm awful at making new friends, and a class seems like the perfect way!

Also, I may have to steal those ankle boots! You rock them so well!

I often face the same thing, I'm really shy and struggle to make friends, after university when my boyfriend and I get jobs and a house together I'm facing the task of finding friends and that scares me a lot.

I love the outfit, it looks cute but warm.

You do look lovely and warm. I love the mix of colours.

So pleased to learn that you're making lots of friends. It's hard when you move somewhere new but it's great to hear you're getting out there and meeting people. Yay for new friends.

What a sweet group picture! Do the other moms ask you for advice on style?

You look and sound so happy. I'm glad you're settling in and making new friends. I love your mix of color and pattern in the first pic. The purple and leopard print is a great combination I had never know looked so good together. Thanks for the inspiration.

I'm so glad you are starting to make friends in your new town! It's great that you found an activity that you not only enjoy but also gives you a chance to interact with other mommies. :)
I love how you warmed up the dress - purple and animal print look great together!

I love how you mixed patterns and colors - so inspiring! I understand how difficult it can be to move to a new town, and have to start over...but you seem to be settling in quite well!
