Drapery and Blazers

Day Six

What:
Blazer- Suzy Shier
Top- H&M
Sheer Grey Skirt- Self Made
Knit Grey Skirt (Under)- Suzy Shier
Boots- Spring

This sheer skirt is the second mystery item to be revealed!  I still have to make the last one...hopefully I can finish it before this challenge is over..haha.
Brody enjoyed making fun of my outfit today...he didn't understand why I was wearing drapery as a skirt, but he was kind enough to take my outfit pictures for me at his works shop.
For anyone else who would like to try making a sheer maxi skirt I made mine using my elastic waist skirt instructions, and I just wore it over a shorter skirt.

I am wearing this blazer today because it's "Classic Blazer Day" over at EverybodyEverywhere.

Such lovely colors--love grey and teal. And I don't know how I don't have a sheer maxi yet. They're awesome--I can't believe you made yours!

The fit of your blazer is perfect. And I'm really digging that skirt. I recently purchased a sewing machine but have yet to complete a project. You've inspired me to get off my duff, lol!

We got you to fold to peer pressure again!
You look even more long and lean than normal in this outfit. Almost Victorian.

I like this skirt. Great idea of wearing a short skirt and blazer. Love your husband's comments. Mine makes similar ones so I can totally relate. The workshop makes a great background.

Wow! Love the color combo and mix of textures. That skirt is amazing! I think it's the first long, full skirt I've seen in the blazer challenge.

This outfit is gorgeous! Actually, so are all the others than I've seen since I found your blog mere minutes ago. But this dress is beautiful and I'm glad you included the directions. I'm going to have to make one for myself! Thanks for sharing and it looks like you've got a new follower.

Natasha - yay a Canadian blogger! I love seeing the snow in your photos, you're a brave one though cause I can hardly do it without turning into a popsicle and looking like Rudolph. Thanks for the birthday wishes. We, Aquarians need to stick together. Look forward to seeing more of your looks! Cheers, K
