Getting Stuck

Day Eight

What:
Lace Top- Self Made
Maxi Skirt- DIY Project
Belt- Winners
Boots- Spring
Ring- Self Made

This is an outfit that I think looks better in real life than in pictures....the reason is that when I walk the train of the skirt falls behind a bit...which look quite cool in my opinion.  This also can be a problem...I don't know how many times I got my skirt hem stuck under a door (twice in the car, once in Vylas room, and once leaving the house...four I guess).

Brody had some tools set up on our deck (my go to picture place)...so instead of moving everything out of the way I "worked" with it.
I mentioned yesterday that I was trying spin class for the first time...I went, and it kicked my behind, but I'll be back!

Marvellous skirt. The print is wonderful and really works in a maxi length. You're making me want to forget that I am short and maxi skirts look kind of funny on me...

cute outfit.. love the photo of you using the saw.. so funny, its great..see you are a REAL model, you know how to really work the backdrops and props!! and that outfit is really cute, but yes, maybe not so functional for certain things. but the point is to LOOK GOOD right???

as for spin.. glad you liked it.. I teach a regular spin class and work their butts bigtime.. they moan and groan and then come back the next week with friends... I tell them my job is to make them suffer and beat them up and in the end they will love me since they will have great QUAD muscles!!! LOL

happy weekend... are you still getting snow up there??? we had sun yesterday which was a pleasant surprise!!! xxo J

Your sewing skills never cease to amaze! And I gotta admit, I saw those tools and thought, "Sheesh, is there anything Natasha CAN'T make with her bare hadnds?!?!"

oh my gosh...i recently bought some fabric & elastic to somehow make a simple maxi, and was excited to see your DIY. but after looking at the instructions, i'm sad to find it's way too advanced for me, haha! i'm a serious dork in the sewing department. i'll have to study the DIY a bit more!!
the skirt is fabulous!!

You are so inspirational! I am so impressed that you live in a small town and manage to still be inspired to be stylish. Honestly I don't follow many blogs but I have to follow yours. You totally inspire me to make do with what I have around me and remember that one doesn't have to be in a big city to dress well!

Have a great weekend :)

Love the pattern on the maxi skirt AND love the maxi skirt. Will have to attempt to make one for me for winter... which gives me a few months still! ;)
