A Mystery Revealed

Day 5

What:
Blouse- Self Made
Vest- Self Made
Jeans- Mavi
Boots- Spring

Remember how I had three mystery items in my 30 for 30 pieces?...well this blouse is the first of the bunch. For those of you who don't know what I'm talking about..I had bought three different fabrics to make three different articles of clothing to use in this challenge. I had actually been hoping to have all three finished before I took the photos of my clothes, but that never happened, so they turned into mystery items.

Remember this top that I had made and wore last 30 for 30 challenge?  Well I made this one using a different variation of the pattern.  I drafted/designed both patterns after I fell in love with split sleeve blouses.  The rose coloured blouse included in this challenge (I haven't worn it yet) is also a different variation of the same pattern.  I guess when I become obsessed with a certain style I go a little crazy!

Can you tell that Brody was my photographer for these last few pictures?  He told me to get on his sled for some pictures to help mix things up a little bit on my blog.  I think the real reason is that he wanted to show off his prized possession...and no it's not me!

You are talented girl! Both the blouse and the vest are amazing. And I just love the combo of the sheer blouse with the full coverage vest. Great outfit and cool photos as well.

I LOVE this top! I like how you did the sleeves a little differently than on the last one you made -- did you put elastic at the cuffs or something? It reminds me so much of the Nanette Lepore World Tour top that I was ogling at the end of the summer. I just love the shape. :) If you ever decide to make a top like this and sell it on your Etsy, you better let me know! It's gorgeous!

Love the blouse! And the pictures ;)

I really need to figure out how to use my sewing machine. That's my next challenge. 30 days of sewing my fingers to fabric until I have something mildly presentable to show for myself.
