Needing Some Help

Day Twenty Seven

What:
Turtle Neck- Rickis
Scarf- H&M
Skirt- Suzy Shier
Boots- Spring

I am so excited that there are only 3 days left of this challenge!!  I've decided that once I am finished the challenge I'm going to cut back my outfit posts a bit.  The reason is that I don't feel like showing you guys a bunch of so-so outfits (like I have been during this challenge)...instead I will just reserve the "good ones" for my blog.  I guess what everything is coming down to is the pressure to keep outfits "blogworthy", and the fact that my lifestyle isn't really fancy (and I don't feel like boring everyone).

I need your help with something.
I'm going to be writing a guest post for another fabulously fashionable mom sometime next month, and she has asked that I write about something related to fashion and being a mom.  In the past I have wrote a post on how to not be a frumpy mommy on WITMIM.  So now I need another idea!!

Are there any fashion and motherhood related topics you would like to read about?
Any ideas for me??  I would LOVE some!!

PS.  Remember you can ask me anything on my Formspring account! (Just be nice!!)

While I'm not a mommmy, I know just about everyone could appreciate a great post on clothes that are fashionable and easy to move around in. Fussy layers, towering heels, and long necklaces aren't practical for ladies with young kids, so maybe kid friendly accessories or looks? I can't wait to read about it!

I'm not a mom, but how to make time for blogging without taking too much time away from the kids, or how to entertain the kids while you blog may be topics of interest?
Or what you think your kid(s) will say when they're grown about mummy's blog... (regardless whether or not it still exists by then)!

I'm not a mom, but I think that tips for finding time to work on your blog are always useful.

Love the purple tights!

I am not a mom, but maybe something about how to not get stuck in a rut or how to put yourself first sometimes and not forget about your look. So many moms I know dress their kids in the cutest clothes, but they don't take care of their look.

I know that moms put their kids first and that is amazing, but they need to consider themselves too!

I'm loving your purple tights!! And that scarf is so fun and cute!!

Maybe you could write about juggling mommy with fashionista and blogging? (if that makes sense) It's like 3 jobs in one...and hard work sometimes! ;)

Good luck with the post! Can't wait to read it!

Oooh, gorgeous outfit! Purple and turquoise are such an expected combination, but they work so well together -- I love that you used the scarf to tie together the different colors in this look.

As for Mom-fashion posts, I'm far from an expert, but I guess I would suggest either write about how you find time to blog while balancing a crazy schedule OR something more general about taking time for yourself as a mother -- like how you stay fabulous and carve out me-time.

Ooh, love that scarf. And just for the record your outfits are cute and inspiring and very much blog-worthy. I love seeing what you wear.

I love the idea of giving advice on fashion tom moms (I'm a proud Mama).
What about showcasing different kinds of outfits for different Mommy duties--like, errand running, play dates, school events?
Or how to add something special to a pair-Jane outfit by using accessories or hairstyling techniques?
Looking forward to the guest post!

That scarf really pulls all the colors in your outfit together! So pretty. :) How about an article on how to wear jeans in different ways? I know I would benefit from that! :)

Love the purple tights. I totally get how you feel. Sometimes I feel the outfit is so not 'blogworthy' but I feel I should post cause the idea is it is realistic to not have great outfits as a SAHM all the time. I do not post those to chictopia though for sure.
Hmm... ideas ideas ideas...
I don't have any specific stuff. More general like how to help SAHM step out of their comfort zone one step at a time. How sto shop from their own closet. How to do it all on a budget etc...
Sorry not much help I know.

Do you have days in which, through the course of being a mum, you have to change your outfit several times? Maybe chronicle about that?
Sorry, I'm not a mum and rarely have to change my outfit or plan around someone other than myself.
