I am so glad that Summer is just around the corner!
I can not wait for the day when things have warmed up enough for me to swim in the lake pictured behind me!
I had mentioned before that I am training for a half marathon, and some of you had asked that I shared my progress with you.
I have never been a runner, but since moving to this small town I have nothing better to do with my time than exercise with my friends! Right now I am aiming to work out 5 days a week. Some days that means going for a run, other days it's hiking the mountain behind us, I also like to include in some strength training. On Saturday I ran my longest run, 12k (7.45miles) in 1hr 13mins, that was quite the achievement for the girl who hated exercise!
