While I'm away enjoying the sunny weather with family and friends I have a few guest posts lined up for you to enjoy!
Hi there, Required 2 Be Inspired readers! I'm Elizabeth, and I blog over at Law Mama. Yep, I have a law degree and I'm a stay-at-home-mom. I like to think I'm overqualified, but the truth is that my kid gets the better of me on a daily basis. The knowing rules of evidence aren't very helpful against a toddler!
To keep my 19-month-old occupied, we've been spending a lot of time at the park - and truth be told, I see a lot of yoga pants and sloppy hoodies there. I started the blog to help me fight the frump, and this is one of my favorite outfit formulas for being comfortable yet stylish while chasing after a toddler. Yes, moms, it can be done, and I implore you to give it a try!
I started with a simple grey v-neck t-shirt, some comfy jean shorts, and a pair of comfortable shoes. From there, I just added some great accessories. A colorful scarf and a light jacket if it's cool enough (it usually is in the San Francisco Bay Area), a hat to keep the sun off (and maybe cover that unwashed hair), plus some glasses (I'm a blindy mcblinderson and can't get far without either glasses or contacts). Throw on a cute Navajo inspired bangle, grab your trusty diaper bag and you're good to go. And if you swap out the glasses for sunglasses, no one will even notice if you're not wearing make-up.
There you go, my go-to formula for getting out the house looking presentable without expending too much effort.
