I've had this turquoise and lime lace for at least 5 years now and finally just got around to making something with it. It's a bit crazy bright, which is why it has sat in my fabric stash for so long. With neon being such a big trend now I figured that it was finally time to break it out!
I actually copied the pattern for this top by tracing around a new cream lace dress of mine (you'll see it tomorrow in my outfit post). This was actually a very easy top to make...so easy that I've slightly altered the pattern and am half finished making a similar shirt using a woven polyester fabric.
I left it unlined so that I can switch up my cami colours underneath.
On a funnier note, my sister-in-law just asked me if I made myself a figure skating costume when she saw this top..haha. I promise I'll wear it so it doesn't look like one!
