The snow has been melting like crazy lately, and it has me so excited for Spring/Summer. I've started working on (and finished) a few projects for my trip to Arizona...so far I've made 1 (and a half) tops, 2 (and a half) skirts, a few removable peplums and 3/4s of a pair of pants. The only reason I have a few unfinished projects is that I need to buy some notions (mainly zippers) to finish them off. I promise I will finish them :)
I'm starting to think that a few of these pieces might end up getting left behind, because I don't think I'm going to need 3 pencil skirts..haha
Anyways with all this warm weather I thought it would be nice to look back at some Spring/Summer DIY projects that I made last year.
I took an old bra, and recovered it with swimsuit fabric.
This was by far my most worn top last summer, it's a very easy pattern to draft!
The easiest shirt to make ever...you only need to know how to sew a straight line!
Transform a plain white skirt (or anything) into striped perfection!
And of course I hope to come up with some more fun DIYs for this Spring/Summer!
